FlightIQ Booking Assist Terms & Conditions
1. Service scope
FlightIQ provides reward flight booking assistance and is not a travel agency. FlightIQ assists with flights booked using frequent flyer points but does not sell or issue airline tickets. Bookings are ultimately made with, and subject to the terms of, the relevant airline or frequent flyer program.
2. Reward availability
Reward seats are subject to airline availability and may change or be withdrawn at any time. Availability cannot be guaranteed until your booking is confirmed and ticketed.
3. Points transfers
Points transfers are subject to the relevant loyalty program’s terms and processing times and may be irreversible. Where a points transfer is required, FlightIQ will confirm the recommended transfer before you proceed.
4. Fees, deposit & third-party costs
A 20% deposit is payable before FlightIQ begins the search, with the remaining booking fee payable once a suitable itinerary has been identified and you elect to proceed with booking. Airline taxes, carrier charges, change or cancellation fees and other third-party costs are additional to the FlightIQ booking fee and payable separately.
5. FlightIQ Guarantee
Before beginning the search, FlightIQ will discuss and agree with you the travel requirements, flexibility and other relevant considerations that form your booking brief. If FlightIQ is unable to identify and secure a bookable itinerary that reasonably meets those agreed requirements, you will pay no booking fee and your deposit will be refunded in full. Once an agreed itinerary has been secured and ticketed, the FlightIQ booking fee is non-refundable.
6. Booking and ticketing
FlightIQ will assist you through the booking process to completion. Depending on the airline or frequent flyer program, FlightIQ may create or prepare a booking and enter passenger information on your behalf where permitted. Where an airline requires the account holder or passenger to complete any step directly, you remain responsible for completing that step as instructed.
7. After booking & changes
Once your ticket is issued, the booking is yours to manage directly with the airline. If you would like FlightIQ’s assistance with making or managing a change, your first change requiring FlightIQ assistance is included at no additional cost. Subsequent changes are charged at 10% of your original FlightIQ booking fee per change.
This applies to voluntary changes and to assistance you request following an airline schedule change or cancellation. Any additional points, airline fees, taxes, fare differences or other third-party costs arising from a change are payable separately.
